CIRCUS MAXIMUS Keyboardist To Play On BEYOND FLAMES Debut

CIRCUS MAXIMUS keyboardist Lasse Finbråten will perform on the upcoming debut album from the Norwegian metal act BEYOND FLAMES. Tentatively titled "Warfare", the CD is scheduled to be recorded in May/June for a fall release.

Finbråten is a longtime friend of the BEYOND FLAMES members, having previously played in the cult band TRITONUS for several years. TRITONUS — whose other members have included the likes of Carl Tidemann (WINDS, ARCTURUS, DIABLA),Hellhammer (MAYHEM, DIMMU BORGIR),and Øystein Moe (ULVER, WINDS) — is said to be partly "the reason" for BEYOND FLAMES' formation.

Lasse will join BEYOND FLAMES on stage for the band's live debut on May 7 at Smuget in Oslo.
